Bus-2 is a fiber-optic interface, bus extender data link to remotegraphics controller/workstations in DEC VAX or IBM environments. It istransparent to DEC I/O and DMA protocol communication performance. Fullduplex data is transferred over noise-free fiber-optic cable. Bus-2is fully compatible with other emulators such as MDB-DR11B/W, MDB-DRV11B,Gould, and ICON. Features include:- Extension graphics controller up to 2.0 km.
